Dual exhaust cars, Power Pack, dual quad and fuel injection, had fuel and brake lines run on the outboard side of the right frame rail away from the heat of that extra second exhaust pipe. The high performance double hump had 2.02 intake and a partially machined combustion chamber (relief on the side near the intake to improve breathing). Even the old fuelie heads flow better (dbl hump) for the cash outlay of hardened seats, bigger valves, and then a valve job. 450 for Vortecs are a bargain. WebJan 6, 2008 · Using the 305 s/r heads (which only cost 289 per head) come fully assembled and they flow pretty well. Also, they have smaller combustion chamber (58cc compared to 64cc on the vortec) so you will keep the stock compression your engine already has.
