WebHello! So I have been taking Sumatriptan as needed for a couple months to treat my migraines. I usually take it about 4 times a month. I’ve noticed that when I take this medication I not only get drowsy when it takes effect, but I also get a fairly severe sore throat that lasts for many hours, resolves approximately 6-12 hours after my last dose.
