Starnet is one of the popular tools for star removal available online. Being familiar with AI/ML, I decided to write my own neural network based tool for star removal. Webb11 sep. 2024 · Now, your star image at that same pixel has values of: 0.9, 0.8, 0.9. When you add the two, the resulting pixel is clipped in all 3 channels: 1.1, 1.1, 1.0. That's why the methods for unscreening and blending are used. They don't clip the pixels. Like everything else, though, you're making a compromise.
